Hypemuscle collects user submitted information such as email address, and age to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relating to the Hypemuscle service. In using the Hypemuscle service, you may also submit personal information regarding your fitness, health, and/or weight loss endeavors in your profile. 

Hypemuscle also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services. We also store certain information from your browser using cookies.

 

You post User Content (as defined in our Terms of Use) on the site at your own risk. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.

User Profile information including members' pictures, age, and usernames are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in the Hypemuscle community. Email addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join Hypemuscle, and to send notifications related to the service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user's email address is not shared or displayed to people within a user's personal network. Users may communicate on Hypemuscle with each other through the private messaging system, without disclosing their email addresses.

If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Hypemuscle.

We may also use a user's email address to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding Hypemuscle. Users may choose not to receive email of this type by changing their setting in the "Profile Options" page.

Hypemuscle will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary:

(1) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by Hypemuscle, whether or not a response is required by applicable law;

(2) to enforce the Hypemuscle Terms of Use Agreement or to protect our rights; or

(3) to protect the safety of members of the public and users of the service. Hypemuscle reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Hypemuscle or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest.

Children Under the Age of 18

Hypemuscle does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 18, do not attempt to register or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 18 may provide any personal information to or on Hypemuscle.

Hypemuscle may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. Users should read the privacy policy stated on the other sites. Our privacy policy only governs information collected on Hypemuscle.

Updating or Removing Information

Hypemuscle members may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account and accessing features such as User Profile and User Options.

Third Party Advertising

Advertisements that appear on Hypemuscle are sometimes delivered (or "served") directly to users by third party advertisers. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by Hypemuscle and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Security

Hypemuscle member accounts are secured by member-created passwords, and Hypemuscle takes precautions to insure that member account information is kept private. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information.
