Beef should be eaten (blue rare for me!!), and for protein powder stick to some type of whey.

I don't think beef is an efficient source of protein. Am I wrong? I tend to agree with those suggesting whey. Part of the problem with beef is that much of it might be from feedlot beet - highly acidic with high omega 6/3 ratios rather than the healthier grass fed beef. At least whey is more alkaline.

whats the benefit of more alkaline?? I've read about it way back but cant remember why this is important? can you explain more?
